This course expands the coverage of financial accounting and reporting into advanced topics related to business combination consolidation of financial statements foreign currency transactions financial derivatives intercompany transactions and foreign currency financial statements. Students in the course will enhance their accounting knowledge and skills and better understand the critical use of accounting information in business decision making.Prerequisite: ACCT 3040. 3 credits.
