Live-Stream Production and Podcasting explores in practice and theory the production of videoand audio content for streaming over the internet in real time. The course analyzes howweb-delivered audio and video have transformed consumer media experiences how thesepractices emerged from the business and technology of radio and television and whatopportunities exist for working in live-streaming and podcasting. Throughout the semesterstudents will apply classroom materials to hands-on production assignments to deliverlive-streaming events and on-demand podcasts in areas such as news sports eSports liveperformances and/or other web-based media.3 Credits
