This course will familiarize students to most aspects of video post-production in the context of understanding film as a fine art and as a tool for personal expression. Technical aspects covered in class include advanced editing concepts and techniques basic sound design color correction title/credit creation final output and online distribution. Students will develop advanced editing skills using current industry software while also discussing various stylistic and aesthetic approaches to post-production and montage. Preparing movies for various distribution outlets will also be addressed.Classes are organized as lectures discussions guided software instruction and student presentations.The class is studio based and footage for some assignments will be provided.Pre-req: ARTM2410 Multi-Cam Studio3 Credits
