This course will emphasize the relationship between graphic design and the moving image and sound environment. Through guided in class exercises and individual assignments students will learn how to bring their still graphics and photographic images alive through the use of Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. Students will study aspects of the history of animated films various animation techniques and will look at work created by the world?s best animators and designers. This class will be studio based. Students will be responsible for the creation of all the graphics used in individual assignments. Prerequisites: ARTM20203 Credits
