COMM1040 Persuasive and Influential Speaking prepares students for the demands of understanding and engaging in professional oral and visual communication through in-person and online delivery of presentations grounded in audience-based critical and rhetorical thinking. Among the communication topics explored are audience analysis rhetorical strategies delivery and ethical communication. While refining research and presentation skills students choose engaging visual aids to enhance the delivery of speeches.
