This course provides an analysis of terrorism and the corresponding responses within the homeland security framework. Students will explore the historical evolution of terrorism the motivations and tactics of terrorist groups and the role of government agencies in preventing and responding to terrorism. Through case studies policy analysis and discussions students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the challenges posed by terrorism and the strategic measures designed to counter such threats.3 Credits
