This course compares and contrasts the traditional modern control engineering theory andits applications to the new-data driven machine intelligence subjects and their uses. Topics covered include systemdynamics and control engineering data-driven modeling machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) viavarious methods such as K Nearest Neighbors decision trees perceptions Neural Networks and Fuzzy Logic. A varietyof hardware and software tools will also be utilized in weekly numerical/hands-on activities leading to two separateprojects that are based on traditional and new methodsPrerequisites CSCI4230 & ENGR3420
