This course provides an overview of the BME discipline and major subdivisions such as biomechanics cellular engineering tissue engineering bioelectricity and imaging. Also introduced are quantitative tools utilized throughout the BME curriculum. The class will be involved in the formulation and execution of a design project.Prerequisite: BIOL1210 BIOL1215 ENGR1610 or Concurrent3 Credits
