This course is an introduction to the discipline of Software Engineering and the software developmentlife cycle. Various aspects of software development phases such as requirements analysis softwaremodeling and design software implementation and testing and project management are covered. Theroles of the software engineer are introduced in the context of liability issues and ethical conduct.Further software conceptualization development verification and validation implementationenvironments and deployment methods and techniques are discussed.Prerequisites: ENGR2430 INFS2184 INFS2151 or INFS32403 Credits
