This course provides students in the mechanical-engineering track with a basic knowledge of the theory and applications of several numerical methods. These methods include curve fitting root-finding fundamental numerical-linear-algebra algorithms to solve systems of linear equations numerical quadratures and numerical integration of select ordinary and partial differential equations.Prerequisites: MATH3400 and MATH34203 Credits
