FYSP1030 helps student development with specific attention to increased growth of academic and personal skills for new RMU students. It eases the transition from one institution to another supplies information on campus resources assists in laying the groundwork for adjusting to major requirements and planning a career and generally helps students feel connected to the University.This class will be conducted in a hybrid fashion where the coursework is submitted online and there will be six in-class sessions for the semester. Two other outside class meetings will be held with the Transfer Student Advisor and each student?s assigned Faculty Advisor. First semester undergraduate transfer students are encouraged to complete this course.
