This course is an examination of the Vietnamese conflict during the years of French and American involvement in Southeast Asia. Emphasis is on the period of heavy U.S. participation during the 1960's and 1970's. The course explores United States' policies and the impact of the war on Southeast Asia and the United States and its effects on international relations.3 Credits
