This course introduces foundational concepts related to the direct and indirect care of healthcare consumers. Students will build on existing medical terminology and healthcare concepts knowledge develop medical math and assessment skills and apply communication and technical skills required in various healthcare settings. Students will complete Basic Life Support (BLS) Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training to earn their certification. 3 CreditPre-req: HLSC 1010
