This course provides an interdisciplinary approach to understanding and supporting child health and well-being. Students will learn to describe and address complex medical conditions develop skills in proper positioning and handling in various settings and understand developmental trajectories and available resources to children and their families. Emphasis will be placed on completing comprehensive developmental assessments through case studies developing case-based reports conducting field-based observation and practicing team-based interdisciplinary collaboration.3 creditsPre-Req: PSYC 2550 or SDIN 3110
