This course provides an academic structure for supervised internships in health-focused organizations. The student will complete 120 hours of documented experience at a pre-approved (by the program director) internship site. The student?s experience may be a volunteer or paid position that is related to their career goals. The student will explore potential career paths and develop mentorship relationships and networks that will support professional advancement. Additionally the student will apply health sciences theoretical knowledge and skills in a work setting. This course requires 120 hours on site as well as the completion of the academic requirements established by the Department of Psychology and Health Sciences.Prerequisites/Co-requisites: HSAM 4250 or PSYC3100 90 credits completed and program director approval
