This course is designed to assist students in selecting a thesis project advisor and appropriate methodology. The course will introduce the students to a variety of qualitative and quantitative approaches to research. The students will gain experience critiquing research design so that they will be aware of pitfalls when designing their own research plan. At the end of the course students will have selected an advisor decided upon a thesis project and methodology and submitted a literature review (3 credits).
