This course focuses on the evolving impacts of artificial intelligence (AI) on the cybersecurity landscape. Students will learn to identify and evaluate AI-powered cyber threats and attacks and their implications. The course also covers the positive impact of AI on cybersecurity including the use of AI-powered systems for enhancing cyber threat detection incident response security automation vulnerability analytics and security risk assessment. Students will learn and evaluate the AI approaches models techniques and tools that can be used to secure and protect applications networks and data against sophisticated cyber-attacks. 3 Credit
