Transnational freight movement is the focus of this course. In the international environment different rules and considerations apply and often differ dramatically from domestic practices. This course will familiarize the student with technical details of international trade terms required documentation import/export duties and taxes and international trade agreements. Knowledge of these areas will then be used to analyze prospective and existing international logistics/supply chains. (3 credits)Prerequisites: MARK 2000 MARK 3150 and Registered for Logistics Certificate.
