This course is the third in a three-course calculus sequence. Topics covered include conic sections plane curves parametric equations vectors and curves in the plane dot and cross products applications target and normal vectors functions of several variables partial derivatives gradients extrema of function of two variables Lagrange multiples multiple integrals polar cylindrical and spherical coordinates. Software proficiency in word processing is required.Prerequisite: MATH2170 with a minimum grade of C or equivalent.4 Credits
