This will provide a framework for classifying the ever-growing number of specific business analytic techniques into a set of fundamental generic tasks. Through case study and hands-on examples students will study how specific examples of these fundamental business analytic tasks have been used to create business value. In so doing students will learn to recognize opportunities to use business analytic techniques to make better business decisions and will gain the vocabulary and conceptual understanding necessary to communicate effectively with business analytics specialists.Prerequisite: MBAD6215 or by discretion of the MBA Director3 Credits
