NSSC 2500 builds on foundational writing and reporting practices learned in previous journalism classes. Primarily through either an on- or off-campus beat students identify complete and distribute stories through print broadcast and online platforms. Students engage in significant inquiry on the stories they cover; detailed multi-sourced and deeply researched reporting is expected. Students also begin consistent peer-editing of their colleagues? work. PREREQUISITES: NSSC 1500NOTE: STUDENTS WHO HAVE TAKEN JRNL 3020 AT RMU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO TAKE THIS COURSE
