This course focuses on major concepts of nursing care including therapeutic intervention and decision-making. Students learn to perform psychomotor skills with individual client needs as a priority. Classroom and laboratory activities along with simulated patient scenarios guide the student through the acquisition of basic nursing skills. Application of the nursing process and critical thinking is emphasized.Prerequisites: NURS2015 NURS2020 and NURS2021 Co-requisite: NURS21162 Credits
