This course examines policies trends educational practices and societal perspectives related to transition of students with disabilities. This course explores transition planning from school to community living post-secondary education and employment. Curriculum and strategies will be investigated in order to maximize academic social and functional skills of individuals with disabilities across the life span.Prerequisite: SPED3010 or SPED6080 Co-requisite: SPED0345 or SPED06453 Credits
