The RMU Department of Sport Management and School of Business invite you to participate in the 17th RMU Sport Management Virtual Student Career Summit  over a three day period, on October 7, 8, and 9, 2020. There is an outstanding slate of industry leaders presenting and participating in this year's event.

The Summit Overview: 

With the challenges of the 2020 COVID pandemic causing significant disruptions within sport and entertainment properties as well the industry serving as a focal point of change in societal and cultural issues; there will be two themes directed towards the primary Summit audience of students. They are; “the concept of pivoting” and “turning on the lights”. These would cover skills, content knowledge and innovation in athlete/media/fan engagement and business practices along on examining how the industry is creating awareness and change with diversity and social justice relating to race and gender.

Thursday, October 8 2020 (INDUSTRY PANELS) - State of Sport /Entertainment Industry- Time:  11:00-2:00 pm EST  

Friday, October 9, 2020 (PANELS AND WORKSHOP) -Career Development-Time: 10:00-1:00 EST
