Ammar Barnawi
Ammar Barnawi is a Finance major at Robert Morris University. He has been in America since 2017. Since that time, he has been to 37 states and explored different cultures. He is currently a sport representative of Saudi Club at University of Pittsburgh and was previously the president of Saudi Club and a member of the Gulf Cooperation Council at Portland State University. He believes that time management is the secret of enjoying life. “Think positively and show the best of you.”
John Betz
John Betz is someone who is driven toward and by success. As a young student, he has already proven himself to be a hardworking and motivated individual who strives to improve in all aspects. He plays hockey, golf, and other recreational sports in his free time and loves to be around friends and family. Although he puts in the work, his faith is most important to him as he gives all of his success and gratitude to God. He comes to the Rockwell Fellowship with a goal to create a non-profit organization that will assist foster families and youth. His interest in this field stems from his experience as a foster child and going through the foster care system. He is someone who enjoys reaching goals and helping others reach their goals when the opportunity comes. He sees an amazing year ahead with a great group of people to connect with and befriend!
Maria Calfo-Carroll
Maria Calfo-Carroll is a full time sophomore student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics. When she is not in the classroom, she is an active member in the honors program, treasurer for positive advocates, and member of 4 other RMU clubs. Her desire to expand her knowledge of entrepreneurship initiated when she began going to craft shows with her father to sell CNC'd wood creations. She is eager to join the Rockwell Fellowship and learn more about how to start her own venture!
Aaron Friar
Aaron Friar is a sophomore Marketing and Management major at RMU. Although Aaron is originally from Medford, New Jersey, he is more than happy to be in the Pittsburgh area for his college years. In high school, Aaron was involved with DECA, which serves as the inspiration for his collegiate studies. So far, he has thoroughly enjoyed every opportunity that RMU has given him. He takes great pride in everything he is involved in on campus, including Phi Mu Delta, Pi Sigma Epsilon, American Marketing Association, Sentry Media, and Pickleball. Despite all of his activities, Aaron still likes to make time for his friends. As such, he is a big advocate for building connections between people for both personal and professional reasons. Additionally, Aaron has a nostalgic attachment to all things entertainment. Ranging from a good historical fiction book to video games and movies, he has real interest in the entertainment industry. As a part of the Fellowship, he hopes to improve his creativity and to network with professionals within the world of business. Overall, Aaron can’t wait to incorporate his experience and interests with the Rockwell Fellowship Program!
Nikayla Giles
Nikayla Gyles, also known as Coach Kay, is a junior at Robert Morris University majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources. She is the founder of Pretty Ambitious Productions, which inspires young high school-aged women and college students to be bold in expressing their intelligence. It is a revision of the social media matrix, focusing on being more than a pretty face. Through individual and group mentoring sessions, she draws from personal and professional experience managing initiatives and marketing events. As the Pretty Ambitious Productions founder “Coach Kay” and company regularly use social media to highlight and intentionally document entrepreneurial truths.
Elena Kazas
Elena Kazas is studying marketing, sales, logistics, and entrepreneurship at Robert Morris University. She is also a member of Women in Business, the Women Leadership Mentor Program, and Rockwell Fellows. She decided to attend RMU to obtain the knowledge necessary to grow her business, Calithea Skincare, which she began to develop in high school. It is a natural skin and body care line, having a unique olive oil base, that is produced and manufactured in Greece. The purpose of Calithea is to amplify the idea of beauty in the simplicity of things. The inspiration of the brand comes from Elena’s family, faith, and cultural values, which also inspires her choice of Greece to source her manufacturing.
Kaylin Majeran
Kaylin Majeran is a senior Business Management major, Human Resources, and Entrepreneurship at Robert Morris University. Her passions are diversity and inclusion, and making a difference in her community. Kaylin is both co-founder and President of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. and serves as the President of the National Council of Negro Women. Throughout her senior year, you can find her working alongside Kishma De-Sallis as the Multicultural Student Worker and as an ambassador in the Center of Student Success. Inspired by her aunt, Kaylin hopes to obtain skill sets necessary to develop her own cohort-styled non-profit that instills leadership skills in young women. After graduation, Kaylin anticipates being a workplace innovator, in that she plans on working in human resources and putting her passion for diversity and inclusion to good use.
Grace Marian
Grace Marian is a sophomore psychology major who is pursuing her certificate in entrepreneurship. She is active on the RMU Valorant E-Sports team and is the Vice President of Programs for Enactus. She graduated from Chartiers Valley High School in 2021, having dual enrollment in The University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University. Grace joined the Rockwell Fellowship to expand her entrepreneurial knowledge for her mobile automotive detailing business and plans to cultivate more innovative and creative ideas/projects for the future. Grace takes a lot of inspiration from her mom, being a business owner, and from her dad, who was a professor at Waynesburg University for International Business. She continues to learn and grow in the business and entrepreneurial world and hopes to leave RMU with the ability to start and maintain her own business.
Nevonce Mingo
Nevonce Mingo is a rising marketing major at Robert Morris University. Nevonce was born in Trenton, New Jersey. He was taught to be a person who believes solely in morals, values, and principles. One of his favorite quotes is “treat others how you would want to be treated!” Nevonce is driven by the belief that he is specially gifted from God. From youth, he believed that he had a purpose, and that by God’s grace, he would fulfill whatever he put his mind to. Having faced many obstacles, Nevonce accredits his ability to persevere, grow, and remain true to himself and his belief system to God. As a result, he has decided to define his purpose by building a brand that provides others a genuine perspective so as to assist them in overcoming their own obstacles. His aim is to impact as many lives as possible and build character just by sharing his experience. Nevonce would love for everyone to follow his journey of defining his purpose. Maya Orlove
Maya Orlove is a rising senior with an Accounting and Finance dual major and a Data Analytics minor. She has obtained four internships within the accounting field–three as a Non-Profit Audit intern at Snodgrass and one as a State and Local Tax intern at KPMG. On campus, she is the President of Beta Alpha Psi, an honors accounting and finance club member, as well as a Lead Community Advisor in Ross Hall for the Office of Residence Life. In relation to her entrepreneurial spirit, Maya seeks to create a mobile food company called Hungry, Hungry Hippies, or 'Triple H.' Triple H addresses a widely untapped market, providing a solution to the lack of medically-dosed foods. Triple H serves a mouthwatering combination of medically-dosed American classics and comfort food to medical marijuana patients, marijuana users, and non-users alike on the West Coast. As such, customers have the option to have their food served with or without a dosage of cannabis.
Cole Perry
Cole Perry is an Engineering Major and the CEO of Koil LLC. He loves sports and previously played football at Robert Morris University. He describes himself as being very competitive, creative, and calculated. Cole’s favorite quote is from Den of Thieves: “I am in complete control of my environment.”
Chloe Stanfield
Chloe Stanfield is an entrepreneur, student, athlete, and leader. She is a junior sports management major, pursuing a certificate in entrepreneurship. She also is a member of the Division 1 track & field team and competes as a heptathlete. When she is not in class or on the track, she is with her business fraternity Pi Sigma Epsilon. Chloe serves as the Vice President of Public Relations for PSE and is a founding member of the fraternity. She interned with P3R in the summer of 2022 and has previously been an intern for the Brave Women Project, United Sports, and Farmhouse Enterprises. At the age of 15, she founded the non-profit Chester County Track Stars, which provided a free track and field summer program to the youth in her hometown. By 2022, she has had over 300 athletes and 50 volunteers to come through the program. The expanding non-profit aims to help youth in eastern PA have access to low-cost sports and learn how to lead healthier lifestyles. In her free time, Chloe likes to go on hikes, listen to her endless Spotify playlists, and cook up some amazing food.
