  • Report Abuse PA
    All seniors are required to take the 3-hour mandated reporter training and get the certificate. The certificate is good for 5 years.
  • PA.GOV: Certifications
    You can add certifications to your PA Teaching License through testing. The first step after graduation is to get your initial certification. However, you can take a test (no additional coursework) and add on to your certification! You can take these exams at any point during your time here (or beyond). Then you apply to the state to add this to your teaching license ($200 fee).
  • PA Student Teacher Support Program
    Apply for the PA Student Teacher Support Program (grant) before your pre-student teaching semester. Please watch the site closely for updates.
