The Department of English and The Humanities Recognizes Outstanding Students

The Department of English and The Humanities has recognized outstanding students, including the winners of two endowed scholarships. 

Danielle Connors won the Janet Kenton Memorial Scholarship, which honors the memory of Jan Kenton, a dedicated and well-loved member of the faculty from 1968 until her untimely death at the age of 35 in 1976. The award is presented to an outstanding student in the study of composition of literature. 

Natalie Villaflor won the Thomas A. Marshall II Endowed Scholarship, which honors the memory of a well-loved and respected member of the faculty from 1965 until his death in 2007. 

In addition, three graduating seniors were honored with the Outstanding Student in the English and the Humanities Department award:  Megan DiNatale, Maggie Brown, Brittany Perrotte. And Devon Quinn was recognized as well for making the Dean's List.
