Katie is an Environmental Science major with a Biology minor at Robert Morris University. She became interested in her degree field from participating in student group similar to Creek Connections in high school called River Watch. She’s involved with Students for Environmental Awareness and Tau Sigma National Honor Society on the RMU campus. When she’s not on there or at a creek with students, she’s enjoying walks with her dog Moose around the city of Pittsburgh or decorating cakes part time on the weekends. She plans on working with the Department of Environmental Protection post-graduation,  keeping our drinking water or our local waterways clean.
