Idea Portal generates a cause for good!
Robert Morris University student cybersecurity club Top Secret Colonials has partnered with the RMU Center for Innovation and Outreach to hold a 24-hour gaming marathon this Saturday on campus, with proceeds benefiting a charity that is providing meals for refugees of the war in Ukraine. The in-person campus event is open to everyone, and will feature a variety of games, tournaments, and chances to meet others with similar interests.
Register HERE or make a contribution at the event GoFundMe page. Proceeds will go to World Central Kitchen, a charity that is supplying warm meals for Ukrainian refugees.
The charity for this event was suggested by sophomore Shakaya Carpenter, a data analytics major, via the Idea Portal of RMU’s Center for Innovation and Outreach. “I am really passionate about doing what I can for Ukraine and those who are most vulnerable in the world,” said Carpenter.
This Saturday, March 26, from 10 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday.
