Epidemiology

The ability to do this in the face of massive quantities of data and data sets requires a cross-disciplinary knowledge and the application of a range of algorithms and software tools to utilize that knowledge.   

Nutrition

The undergraduate level certificate program in Nutrition is beneficial for multiple populations and will provide a better sense of the importance of nutrition education. The online program is ideal to reach both traditional and nontraditional students while continuing the growth of technology-based education. Program courses are built on science-based nutrition education to provide a foundation in nutrition and dietetic science. Biology B.S. (Pre-Med)

The B.S. in Biology with a concentration in Pre-Med prepares students for admission to medical school upon graduation from Robert Morris. The kind of practical training that will allow them to become an accomplished physician. Students in the pre-med program can also focus on chiropractic medicine, osteopathic medicine, veterinary medicine, or dentistry.

Graduates go on to work in general medicine, chiropractic medicine, osteopathic medicine, veterinary medicine, or dentistry. Jobs include doctor, surgeon, chiropractor, veterinarian, and dentist.

Environmental Science B.S.

The B.S. program in Environmental Science both focus on how the diverse areas of science can work together to promote effective and beneficial uses of the planet's physical and biological resources. Specialized courses demonstrate how technology, business, and management practices can be applied to aquatic, atmospheric, and geologic systems for the betterment of humanity. Students also have the option of a pre-med concentration designed to prepare them for admission to medical school after graduation.
