Faculty Resources

The University’s Center for Innovative Teaching (CIT) has developed a resource and citation guide specifically for using generative AI in teaching and learning. This guide equips faculty with dynamic resources to navigate generative AI in education. It provides offense-based strategies to enhance learning alongside defense-based measures to protect academic integrity. It also includes the AI Signal Framework for transparency in AI usage, guidance on ethical issues like bias, and comprehensive citation protocols for APA, MLA and Chicago. This evolving guide empowers faculty to balance innovative pedagogy with critical human discernment.
