- The School of Engineering, Mathematics and Science is proud to announce the grand opening of the RMU 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Lab at the Energy Innovation Center in the Lower Hill District. The RMU 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Laboratory will be a research and teaching facility, and the university will launch a six-course certificate program in manufacturing engineering there starting March 11. - The Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management released the results of its latest wage and benefit survey for the nonprofit sector in western Pennsylvania. This year's findings show that the wage gap between men and women who lead nonprofit organizations continues to shrink, with women now leading a greater number of large nonprofit organizations. The Bayer Center has conducted the survey every other year since 2002. Read more here.
- The RMU Library has arranged for RMU students and faculty members to have three weeks of free access to edweek.org, an online news service dedicated to K-12 education. The free trial began this past Monday, Feb. 4 and runs through Feb. 22. To register your account, simply click here.
- A team of RMU students planned and executed the Make Your Mark 5K, an event that raised nearly $4,000 for the Mark Eschenfelder Economics Scholarship fund at RMU. The race was part of their event planning class and utilized billboard advertisements on Route 19, social media, printed marketing materials, and social media promotions.

- President Howard has been named to the NCAA Board of Governors Ad Hoc Committee on Sports Gambling and has been named the chair of the NCAA Honors Committee. Read more here.

The International Show is a juried exhibition in the Wheatley Gallery featuring artwork created by RMU students while studying abroad and by international students while studying in the U.S. Please stop by during gallery hours between now and March 1 to see our students' work.
- RMU is offering employees Green Zone Ally Training, an 90-minute session where you'll learn more about veteran and military families at Robert Morris. The training module will teach you about military culture, transition strengths and challenges for veterans and military members, and ways to understand and assist veterans in your department. Anyone interested should RSVP by emailing David Munn at munn@rmu.edu. Available sessions are Tuesday, Feb. 12 from 9 - 10:30 a.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 13 from 2 - 3:30 p.m. in the Benjamin Rush Classroom.

RMU BASKETBALL COACHES SHOW PRESENTED BY PEOPLES NATURAL GAS...and featuring Robert Morris head coach Andy Toole continues on Monday Feb. 11 from The Yard Gastropub (670 Chauvet Drive/Pointe @ North Fayette) at 7 pm. All fans are welcome to attend, and food/drinks are on us. Co-hosting the show once again is the RMU Hall of Fame Voice of the Colonials Chris Shovlin. It will continue to air live each Monday at 7 pm through March 11 on the radio home for RMU Hoops, 970 AM ESPN Pittsburgh as well as on the iHeart Radio mobile app.
