- Robert Morris University was selected as an Air Force Association CyberPatriot Center of Excellence (COE), awarded to institutions that excel in emphasizing cybersecurity and developing the workforce of tomorrow. COEs are recognized as leading institutions and organizations in promoting STEM and cyber education. They are selected based on several criteria, including:
- Success in team recruitment for the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition
- Distribution and implementation of CyberPatriot’s Elementary School Education Initiative
- Sustained support of the CyberPatriot technical mentor program
- Participation in the AFA CyberCamp program
RMU joins a select number of institutions nationwide to be designated as a Center of Excellence.

- Nominations for the Global Engagement Awards are due by Friday, April 17. These awards are designed to recognize globally engaged students, faculty, and staff/administrators who have made significant contributions towards continued growth and sustainability of the university core value of a global perspective.
