  • April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Working in the current digital sphere, the Title IX Office is taking our education and prevention efforts online. If you have an Instagram account, take a minute to follow us @rmu_titleix. Staying connected during this time is more important than ever!

  • Although we've canceled the physical walk, on Sunday, April 5, 2020, RMU is partnering with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to virtually unite the campus community for its 6th annual Out of the Darkness Campus Walk. This special event raises awareness of suicide as a health issue, brings comfort to those in the campus community who have been impacted by a suicide loss, and helps to educate our young adults about mental health and how and when to seek help.

We ask that you walk virtually with us by spending this time doing something that you enjoy, whether it be getting outside for some exercise and walking, reading a book, etc.! Tune into the Robert Morris University Facebook Event Page, as well as the RMU Thrive Leaders Instagram page @rmu_thrive and the AFSP Western PA Instagram page @afsp_westernpa at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, for a special message from AFSP, your walk chair, and some other inspirational messages from others from the RMU community!
