This course examines British literature from the Middle Ages Renaissance Restoration and 18th century focusing on significant schools and movements. Students will read a wide range of literature such as essays romance drama poetry novels and autobiography and will examine these texts in light of contemporary literary cultural and historical formations. Students investigate print internet resources and electronic databases and write literary research essays in MLA format. This course excludes Shakespeare?s plays. 3 credits. Pre-requisites: CSEN 1030 and any ENGL course
