FYSP1030 helps student development with specific attention to increased growth of academic and personal skills for an RMU student. In addition it eases the transition from one institution to another supplies information on campus resources assists in laying the groundwork for adjusting to major requirements and planning a career and generally helps students feel connected to the university. This class will be conducted in-person where the coursework is submitted online there will be two required meetings outside of class with Advisors on-campus to ensure students are introduced to key faculty and staff on campus that will be able to support them during their time at RMU. Undergraduate transfer students are encouraged to complete this course during their first semester.
