Health and Wellness Programs: Undergraduate Psychology

The B.S. in Psychology is available in a general concentration that provides a broad-based approach to the discipline, as well as four specialized concentrations.

General - Provides students with an examination of many of the diverse subfields within the discipline. Students who choose this path can work with faculty mentors to tailor their studies to best meet their academic and career needs.

Clinical - A pre-professional program to prepare students for graduate training in counseling or clinical psychology. Builds foundational clinical skills that can be honed and extended during graduate training.

Industrial-organizational - The scientific study of workplace issues facing individuals, teams, and organizations. Coursework includes business classes on management theory and organizational behavior.

Sport - The mental side of sport and exercise, applying principles of psychology to improve athletic and exercise performance and assist athletes dealing with performance anxiety, injury, depression, eating disorders, and substance abuse.

Clinical-sport - Intensive dual course of study combining classes on mental health and counseling with those concerning the mental side of sport and exercise performance.
