Early Intervention Minor
Early intervention is the term used to describe the specialized services and supports available to babies and young children with developmental delays and disabilities and their families. This 18-credit minor in early intervention is guided by PDE requirements, and complements the following majors: Education (early childhood or special education), Health Sciences (general concentration), and Psychology (general concentration).
If you minor in early intervention, you will be required to complete field experience hours in a variety of settings. In order to visit these settings, you must have three clear, current clearances. Printed information regarding which clearances are necessary and how to obtain them can be located in the reception area of 2nd floor Wheatley.
