Parents/Family Reception

Location: "The Basement," Nicholson First Floor

Kick off the day by mingling with fellow parents and families in the newly renovated student hangout spot that you’ve heard so much about. The Basement includes billiards, air hockey, and ping pong tables. Food provided.

Pickleball at The Rec

Time: Noon - 2:00 PM
Location: Student Recreation Center

You can explore our state-of-the-art fitness facility and even challenge your student to a friendly match of Pickleball. The RMU Pickleball team will be on hand!

RMU Football vs. Virginia University of Lynchburg

Time: 3pm Kickoff
Location: Joe Walton Stadium

Dinner at the PNC Food Court (After the Game)

After the game, treat yourselves to a delicious dinner at the PNC Food Court. We will have meal specials for families. If your student subscribes to ANY meal plan, Families eat for free for the first 100 days.

We look forward to having you with us on this special day to celebrate the RMU spirit, connect with fellow parents, and create lasting memories together. Homecoming is all about the RMU community coming together, and we can't wait to share this experience with you.
