COI Advisory Council Portal

Goals

• Generate ideas and support for Cross Disciplinary Programs (camps, workshops, community events, speakers) for direction of the COI matching its vision, mission and strategic plan.
• Impose challenges to COI that could improve the center activities and its recruitment pipeline for both innovation and outreach.
• Planning and Implementing Public Relations to be influential leaders to create awareness about K-12 outreach programming and innovation

Responsibilities

• Provide “counsel” on issues raised by COI Faculty & Staff
• Encourage and support the exploration of new innovative ideas and interdisciplinary projects.
• Act as a resource for COI
• Provide social networking for COI
• Meet with COI leadership/on the semester basis/to summarize the achievements and setbacks, develop plan of action and improvement
