Hearing Conservation Training 30 Min
This training is intended to cover the contents of RMU’s Hearing Conservation Policy (SM 1.11) and meet the requirements of the OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.95. As noted in 29 CFR 1910.95(k), the employer shall train each employee who is exposed to noise at or above an 8-hour time weighted average of 85 decibels in accordance with the requirements of this section.
The training should be completed within 10 days of initial assignment to tasks where occupational exposure may take place, when changes such as modification of tasks or procedures or institution of new tasks or procedures affect the employee's occupational exposure, and at least annually thereafter.
To complete this training you must review the Hearing Conservation Policy, view the video, and complete the below quiz. Once these tasks are completed please notify your supervisor.
