If you go see 1917 at the Tull Family Theater in Sewickley tonight at 8:15, you'll first hear an introduction from Connie Ruzich, university professor of English. Her work focuses on "lost voices" of WWI and includes Behind Their Lines, a weekly blog endorsed by the United States World War I Centenary Commission. She'll be talking about how the film is set at a pivotal moment in history, how WWI is largely remembered, and how new technologies transformed military strategy.
