  • All faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to self-screen using CampusClear each day before heading to campus or leaving their residence hall. The free mobile app asks you to mark whether you're feeling healthy, or are showing any symptoms that would cause reason to stay home or see a doctor. Once you answer the single question, you'll get a notification saying you're clear to visit campus, should stay home, or should seek medical attention. The app is free to use and can be downloaded at the Google Play or Apple App stores. Please know that if you're stopped by a random temperature checker on campus, they will also ask to see that you've checked in that morning using CampusClear and have been given the okay to come to campus.

  • RMU In The News has been updated with the best of last month's news media coverage of the university, including local and national articles that feature Jacob Peng, Phil Harold, Dave Synowka, President Howard, and others.

  • RMU's new Income Share Agreements (ISA) is a new, innovative college financing tool that helps students reduce the amount of traditional student loan debt they need to pay for their education. The new Colonial Success Fund provides $5,000 annually to select students. In return, those students will pay a fixed percentage of their income upon graduation for a fixed number of months. ISA recipients whose income falls below a minimum threshold will not be required to make any payments until their earnings increase. Learn more about this new program here.

  • The RMU chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), the academic honors society in the School of Business, has earned highest honor status for the 2019-2020 academic year, which is highest possible distinction for over 600 BGS chapters worldwide. The RMU BGS is also eligible for the Outstanding Chapter of the Year award.

  • Last month we informed you that the Actuarial Science Career Fair was going virtual this year and stretching from a single day to an entire week. We're please to announce that nearly 100 students and 18 firms participated in the successful event, while most firms presented an information session, lead a chat room, and performed interviews.

  • Two band members, Kristen Davis and Joshua Horn, have been awarded the prestigious AEA Distinguished Scholars Scholarship from the National Council of Kappa Kappa Psi, the national honorary band fraternity. Both students are active members in the RMU Bands and the Nu Gamma Chapter at Robert Morris University.
