Cybersecurity Policy & Management
With the Cybersecurity Policy and Management undergraduate certificate, you will combine your understanding of technology with skills in information systems management. This program provides a broad analytical framework for evaluating and solving cybersecurity problems. You will also explore the legal foundations of cybersecurity, as well as the roles of organizations.
Upon completion of this undergraduate certificate, graduates will be able to:
- Apply cybersecurity tools and methods to defend systems and organizations against cyberattacks.
- Develop and implement a cybersecurity program or respond to security incidents.
- Communicate and implement a risk-based approach to security.
- Develop cybersecurity documentation and plan for cyber disaster recovery management and business continuity.
The 12-credit undergraduate certificate is designed as a standalone stackable credential. Credits can also be applied to the 120-credit B.S. in Cybersecurity, or as electives in another B.S. program.
