Student Team Nominated for WTT Young Leader Award

Throughout the spring 2020 semester, RMU School of Business marketing students worked together with students from the University of Applied Sciences in Eastern Switzerland located in St. Gallen. On September 8th the joint RMU – St. Gallen team was one of six teams nominated for the WTT Young Leader Award for their project entitled “Flushing out the Opportunities: A North American Market Entry Strategy” of 42 total practical projects.
The team this year had to pivot their approach and complete the final part of the project virtually, which proved to be a difficult task. However, the team excelled in true Robert Morris University fashion and is placed in the top 3 teams for their category, market research.
A big congratulations goes to RMU marketing students Dalton Faith, Kristina Parsons, and Abigail Watkins, as well as faculty advisor Dr. Kurp for their outstanding work during difficult times! The team will find out its final placement among the top 3 during a virtual event on December 8th.
