CIS Department Receives Additional NSF Funding for SFS Project

The Computer Information Systems (CIS) Department has received a Supplemental grant award from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for the recent 5-year CyberCorps® Scholarship for Service (SFS) grant awarded by NSF 3 months ago. The Supplemental grant provides additional support for faculty research and mentoring of student research in Cybersecurity.  

Dr. Ping Wang is the Principal Investigator (PI) of this grant project, and Dr. Sushma Mishra and Dr. Frank Hartle are Co-PIs. The Supplemental award is of $103,861, which brings the total award amount of the 5-year grant to $3,629,413.
