Political Science and Economics student attends Women in Public Policy seminar in Washington, DC

Senior Political Science and Economics student Kristen Davis attended the Public Leadership Education Network's (PLEN) Women in Public Policy seminar in Washington, DC, in January. PLEN is the only national organization with the sole focus of preparing college women for leadership in the public policy arena.

The seminar featured speakers who specialized in health, financial, environmental, and education policy, and allowed Kristen to connect with many women who share her interests and my passions. Her account of her experiences at the seminar was published on their website, The Plenary.
