RMU’s R.N. to B.S.N. is designed for registered nurses who want to further their education and advance their careers. Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, the program prepares licensed professional nurses for roles in clinical and community settings and offers courses in quality and safety, evidence-based practice, informatics, leadership, cultural sensitivity, health promotion, and community. Registered nurses earn 42 credits towards the degree for their licensure and previous work experience.
Graduates go on to careers in the healthcare field. Specialties include pediatrics, geriatrics, emergency care, surgical nursing, and more. Jobs include forensic nurse, legal nurse consultant, clinical researcher, and school nurse.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing, the Master of Science in Nursing and the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs in the School of Nursing and Health Services are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
