Kearsten and Drew started dating in January 2015 when she was a freshman and he was a sophomore. The two instantly connected over their love for Romo’s “lock n’ load” sandwiches. Drew was an offensive lineman for the football team and Kearsten was always there to cheer him on in the stands.
Drew took a job at the Nord-Lock group in Carnegie, where he is a mechanical design engineer. Kearsten graduated with dual accounting and finance majors, and took a job with BNY Mellon where she is a senior financial analyst role in capital management. They got engaged in June of 2018 and shortly after adopted a dog, Mason, who is the light of their lives. Kearsten and Drew also bought their first home together in the South Hills. They got married on October 19, 2019, and just got back from a lovely honeymoon to Italy where they visited Milan, Rome, Florence, and the Amalfi Coast.
The future is exciting for Kearsten and Drew. Kearsten was just accepted into the J.D. program at Duquesne University School of Law and Drew has taken on more international travel for his engineering role. RMU has given this couple the best gift of all: each other.
