Honors student Selene Cerankosky has been awarded a Newman Civic Fellowship by Campus Contact. She will go through a one-year fellowship experience for community-committed students to enhance her personal, professional, and civic development. Selene is president of Students for Life and of the Criminal Justice Honor Society at RMU. She is on the board of Genesis of Pittsburgh, an organization that assists young, pregnant women in need of housing and other vital services. This will be her second fellowship, having recently completed one with the Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics.
